In 1990, Congress enacted 威尼斯人娱乐城 Crime Awareness and 校园安全 Act 威尼斯人娱乐城 1990 (Title II 威尼斯人娱乐城 Public Law 101-542) which amended 威尼斯人娱乐城 Higher Education Act 威尼斯人娱乐城 1965 (HEA). This act required all post-secondary institutions participating in HEA’s Title IV student financial assistance programs to disclose campus crime statistics and security information. 该法案分别于1992年、1998年、2000年和2008年进行了修订。 The 1998 amendments renamed 威尼斯人娱乐城 law 威尼斯人娱乐城 Jeanne Clery Disclosure 威尼斯人娱乐城 校园安全 Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. On March 7, 2013 威尼斯人娱乐城 Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act 威尼斯人娱乐城 2013 (VAWA) (Public Law 113-14) was signed into law and includes amendments to 威尼斯人娱乐城 Clery Act.
