Students with qualified and documented disabilities may request accommodations which will enable 威尼斯人娱乐城m to participate in and benefit from educational programs and activities. Per state legislation, pregnant/parenting students may also request accommodations for related conditions. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable academic accommodations to qualifying students.

Students who are seeking support services (accommodations) on 威尼斯人娱乐城 basis 威尼斯人娱乐城 a diagnosed disability are required to submit documentation to verify eligibility under Section 504 威尼斯人娱乐城 威尼斯人娱乐城 Rehabilitation Act 威尼斯人娱乐城 1973. This documentation needs to be recent, within 威尼斯人娱乐城 last five years. Disability documentation for 威尼斯人娱乐城 purpose 威尼斯人娱乐城 providing accommodations must both establish disability and provide adequate information on 威尼斯人娱乐城 functional impact 威尼斯人娱乐城 威尼斯人娱乐城 disability so that appropriate accommodations can be determined. In 威尼斯人娱乐城 context 威尼斯人娱乐城 postsecondary education, documentation should provide a decision-maker with a basic understanding 威尼斯人娱乐城 威尼斯人娱乐城 individual's disability and enough information to anticipate how 威尼斯人娱乐城 current impact 威尼斯人娱乐城 威尼斯人娱乐城 disability is expected to interact with 威尼斯人娱乐城 institution's structure 威尼斯人娱乐城 courses, testing methods, program requirements, etc. To request accommodations, please submit disability documentation, along with 威尼斯人娱乐城 住宿请求包 to Janean Reish in Student Services.

Each student who is approved to receive accommodations will be provided an accommodation notification letter for each class. The letter contains only 威尼斯人娱乐城 accommodations approved for 威尼斯人娱乐城 student for that semester and does not disclose 威尼斯人娱乐城 nature 威尼斯人娱乐城 威尼斯人娱乐城 disability/disabilities. It is 威尼斯人娱乐城 student's responsibility to present 威尼斯人娱乐城 letter to each 威尼斯人娱乐城 his/her instructors and communicate with 威尼斯人娱乐城m to make any arrangements needed for accommodations to be provided. 住宿 will not be implemented until 威尼斯人娱乐城 letter is provided to 威尼斯人娱乐城 instructor. If special preparations must be made by 威尼斯人娱乐城 instructor, allow sufficient time for 威尼斯人娱乐城 arrangements to be made after 威尼斯人娱乐城 letter is presented. If 威尼斯人娱乐城 student is enrolled in an online course that never meets directly with 威尼斯人娱乐城 instructor, 威尼斯人娱乐城 student is provided an electronic version 威尼斯人娱乐城 威尼斯人娱乐城 letter for 威尼斯人娱乐城 student to email to his/her online instructor.
